Onsite Travel Essentials: Now Open Between Terminals B and C!

PHILADELPHIA — Dec. 18, 2025 — Passengers at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) now have a new place to stock up on travel essentials and locally made goods. PHL Food & Shops has opened Onsite Travel Essentials in the connector between Terminals B and C, marking the first expansion of the Onsite Retailers travel essentials brand within PHL since 2022.

Onsite Travel Essentials specializes in convenience-style retail and travel accessories, offering a selection of snacks, ready-to-go meals and other prepackaged items. Passengers can also find airport necessities, such as charging cables, reading glasses and neck pillows — in addition to Philadelphia-themed apparel and souvenirs that make perfect mementos of any Philly visit.

The operator focuses on convenience-style retail, offering a broad selection of snacks, ready-to-go meals and prepackaged items.

Onsite Travel Essentials Stocks “MADE IN PHILLY” Merchandise by Founded in Philly Businesses

At the new location, you will discover an array of products made in Philadelphia and the surrounding region. From locally founded household names like Martin’s Potato Chips to small businesses in the region such as Emma’s Gourmet Popcorn, which produces Amish-style popcorn — Onsite Travel Essentials carries a variety of items that celebrate regional creativity and craftsmanship.

The assortment of “Made in Philly” products available at Onsite Travel Essentials ties into PHL Food & Shops’ ongoing Founded in Philly initiative to cultivate and curate shops, restaurants, and products that originated in the City of Philadelphia.

Onsite Travel Essentials is proud to welcome Hakim’s Bookstore as a store-within-a-store — bringing another true Philadelphia icon to our retail family.

Founded in 1959 in West Philly, Hakim’s is Pennsylvania’s oldest continuously operating Black-owned bookstore and a celebrated hub for Black literature and culture. Its presence brings travelers a meaningful piece of the city’s history and heritage.

“The success of Onsite Retailers has been remarkable, and we’re happy to see the brand grow with its second location along with resources and support for our passengers,” said Mel Hannah, Vice President and General Manager of MarketPlace PHL. “Newsstands like Onsite play an essential role in PHL’s ecosystem, and the store’s performance reflects the value it brings to the overall passenger experience.”

Earlier this year, Onsite Retailers was recognized with the annual Merchant of the Year award for excellence in customer service and overall guest experience, celebrating the store’s commitment to meeting passengers’ needs with efficiency and care.

A selection of products from the following regional businesses can be found at Onsite Travel Essentials:
