PHL Food & Shops is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our concessions housekeeping program at Philadelphia International Airport. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest experience across the airport’s food and retail concessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations across the airport concessions program
- Ensure all areas meet high cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
- Train, mentor, and manage housekeeping team members to perform at a high level
- Monitor merchant operations for compliance with established rules and regulations
- Oversee departmental inventory and ensure all necessary supplies and tools are available
- Support training programs, safety initiatives, and Risk Management efforts
- Maintain effective communication with merchants, management, and contractors
- Respond to operational issues and merchant needs in a timely, professional manner
- Report safety hazards and incidents, ensuring all reporting standards are met
- Provide flexible leadership coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong time management skills
- 2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task and juggle several priorities at once while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable schedule to ensure proper oversight across shifts
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and guide teams
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of housekeeping and floor care standards a plus
